Here's one that hasnt seem to be suggested yet,
Skill Rebalance Madness Weekend!
A weekend where all the rarely used skills get experimentally buffed, without needing to be "careful" about it. Turn the whole metagame upside and give it a good shake, and get some data about what sorts of changes would be good and what would be bad.

yah. i'd really discourage double ectos/shard drops. Not that i'm rich and have stacks of them (i really have zero of both), just cuz ectos are currently considered money. people trade in ecto's and shard's and its considered the next step up from platinum. So doubling the rate of ecto dropping will just make the economy go downhill and ruin the lives (guild wars lives) of those that have worked hard enough to get to the rich point.

I could say :
Double the Elite Weekend: You can have 2 or 3 elites in your bar at the same time.
Level 40 for a weekend!!! All your lvl 20 chars become lvl 40 for a weekend. Just to see what happens!
Also some weekends on Tyria!! Not only double drops and stuffs like that in Cantha and Elite Missions. People without factions are humans too.

-Free access to UW/FOW regardless of favor, and allow use of henchies
-Temporary removal of the Kurzick/Luxon faction border (end of conflict), and open house for faction towns exclusive areas (everyone can access every exclusive areas of Echoward Forest and Jade Sea towns, including elite missions)
-Allow the player to choose any one of the 5 maps on their own choice to play alliance battle, with increased rewards of some kind for playing on harder maps (e.g. Luxons on Ancestral Lands), and without having to go to guild hall (anyone can choose to fight on either side)

Double Elite Skills Weekend, just to prove WHY we're only allowed 1.
Double Gold Drop Weekend, doubles not only the amount, but drop rate.
Double Difficulty Weekend, Non-Mission mobs increase in levels stats and build complexity, but also drop better items then normal. Make those bloody nooblets who get run everywhere learn their friggin class.
Half Cost Weekend, [Merchants] sell basic items for 50% less.
Weekend of the "Insert Class"
Classes designated for that weekend automatically gain 3 more attribute levels in all primary attributes.
Weekend of the "Insert Effect"
During that weekend, players must work under special conditions, such as stone spores for example.

Every time you complete a mission or quest your character's nose grows longer, or their face or hairstyle changes randomly.

Purple for the win weekend:
Purples can drop with max stats like goldens have.
Remarks on other proposed ideas:
- Why would a double dye drop weekend be so popular? All the normal dyes cost almost nothing, silver is not that expensive either and it's not like you would suddenly get black dyes drop all over the place. Also those low cost dyes would decrease your chance to get quality drops.

-mini map weekend
i UW, FOW, The Deep and Urugoz now when u hit "u" u get a map not a blackness
-Green must drop weekend
when You kill a boss the green MUST drop
double somethink is boring, make some new maze or area more interesting. Maby some quest that is an intelektual chalange, not just go and kill.

1st of all thanks to galie for this opportunity to express ourselves. you know we all love you guys
Double dye drops would be good
Double elite weekend - You may use up to 2 elite skills at a time as long as they are from the SAME PROFESSION) this would help to keep IW with HB out of the story.
Double alcohol weekend - half beer prices and they last for twice the time.
I also like the skill rebalance idea (1st on this page).
No to the double ecto/shard thing (IG economy issues)
No to the favorless UW/FoW entry - makes the gods pointless.
make it that there are double chests in HoH so that ppl will see much more fight in it

I know, I got 0 Fame. However, this would be the way of dragging my Quake-loving butt into PvP:
"The Single Player HoH Tournament". The Setup is simple. People enter HoH like they would enter Random Arena. Then they get thrown into Arenas of 16 players. Everybody is an hostile, respawn time is 3 seconds, kills get counted. After a ten minute all out battle the top 4 get to the next stage. In the final stage, HoH, the winner of the last all out battle will be rewarded with a crown.
With this tournament the gods commemorate the "Days of Madness", a time when no alliances existed.

I demand a fun park! Rather, I beg for a place where an idle guild can get about four people together to throw things at each other. That would be a lot of fun on many levels for the veterans. Maybe a few long term "rides" and idle ticket ventures to pass the time with an on and off series of special events? Ring toss for dyes?

Only put back the griffons for 1 weekend an remove aoe-updates fo 1 weekend. Just feel how funny was to bash 30 griffons at once.

The only one I have really enjoyed was the one last weekend in Halls.
So another weekend like that please but this time make it last 2 years or so.
Liked the idea for random teams at Halls with possibly double fame again.
Otherwise can’t think of anything else that has not been mentioned.

octoberfest / favorless uw-fow / using non-lethal skills in outposts (galelock someone and slashpoint at them :P)
and while the idea of experimenting with tombs is still fresh, make claim resource a 3-4 cast time skill for testing
